TAX COLLECTOR’S OFFICE INTRODUCES SELF-SERVICE KIOSK

(4/8/2008) NEW HAVEN- In an effort to make it more convenient for residents to access information regarding their tax bills and to decrease the time taxpayers spend in line, the Office of the Tax Collector has introduced a new kiosk for self-service use. The kiosk was installed earlier today and will be available to anyone visiting the Tax Office Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

“I decided to install this kiosk to give citizens and taxpayers the opportunity to access tax information without having to wait in a long line,” said C.J. Cuticello, the City’s tax collector. “This should help to improve customer service, make it more convenient for residents to access City of New Haven information via the City's web site and provide easy access to tax information on a self serve basis.”
